The AOLDial.exe process is an executable file of the AOL Internet software (version 9 and above) which is mostly used for dialup, allowing for un-assisted dialling of the Internet. If you are using AOL Broadband or AOL BYOA, this process file may not be seen as it most likely hasn't started up. You can activate this process through a desktop shortcut. 

Recommendation:

The AOLDial.exe process is not an essential file to the computer system. It is a user invoked program and a normal part of PC operations. You can disable it or even remove it from the system startup list in order to save more resources and speed up the system boot. If you need to use AOL Internet software, you can launch it manually from the "Start" menu or other shortcuts.

JayjJacobs		In my case I\'m leaving it for now. => Since AOL-Tech can\'t fix their Bloody Software which up & quit on me. Two calls later it still won\'t load thru Comcast (which AOL blames for blocking downloads!) Broadband. So I\'m accessing their lame Web version (where I can - 0f couse - download). Accessing Glary directly for an update, ro Reg Clean & maybe fix AOL on my own. 0 0 Report Abuse
