Hugo		It is a subprogram of Adobe Reader one that uses some time to sart up. Speed Launcher loads a part of that program resident so the startuptime of Adobe Reader will be a lot shorter.  More information 0 0 Report Abuse

Cameron Motes		It installs with Adobe Reader 8, It makes it quicker to open a .pdf file but I do not recommend you keep this in your start up manager unless you have at least (3gb vista, 1gb xp) of ram and a strong processor, even with out it adobe still opens quick (1-2 sec) on my computer, not for sure why it doesn\'t ask you if you want to install this files while in installation. Elmer Fudd		I used every trick in the book to speed up my PC and was working nicely. Once this was added to my start up list I had time to visit me Granny while waiting start up. Don\'t use unless you are always on Adobe, or you like visitng your Granny. 9 0 Report Abuse

Sebastian S		Remove it whatever RAM you got, if you want your Windows startup to load quicker. Adobe Reader can be loaded while i.e. browsing the internet, well you can\'t do that while Windows is loading. A totally unnescessary application in my opinion, and I have NO idea why Adobe didn\'t warn me about this during installation. 1 0 Report Abuse
TK		Remove it if you are low on RAM ie 512M with Vista or 256M with XP etc. Downside is acrobat reader will take a bit longer to launch te first time each session 0 0 Report Abuse

Dudeman		While I do find most adobe programs quite useful, there is no reason for them to start at boot. This one takes resources and is totally unnecessary. If you update, this will re-install itself, so watch for that. 0 0 Report Abuse
