The Daemon.exe process is a part of the Virtual Daemon Manager task for Daemon Tools. Daemon Tools enables the PC to bypass the security mechanisms of protected CDs and DVDs, particularly games CDs.

A very awesome and free program! This also uses less memory than any other drive emulator I had (Alcohol 120%, ect.). If you run virtual drives, this is the one for you.
