jusched.exe Status: SunJavaUpdateSched is not necessary for startup. It is usually run infrequently and can be started manually if needed. It does not seem to do what it claims. It seems only to check for a few items, rather than most of your installed software. Rarely tells me anything.

It's just a startup slower! Definitely not required, Java will alert you either way if it needs to be updated, and if you have one - you don't need update so soon.
