| PS2.exe Manufacturer : Hewlett-Packard PS2.exe Status : User's Choice PS2.exe Description : Hewlett-Packard's multimedia keyboard driver which enables the end-user to use the automation features of HP PS/2 multimedia keyboard keyboards on some HP PCs. Typically this task will run as a System Tray task and, when running, enables the user to use the Internet, E-Mail, and Wordprocessor function keys on their PC/laptop to directly open their Internet browser, E-Mail program, or wordprocessing program - on some PCs/laptops one of the keys also enables the configuration of the sound. You can also right-click on the icon (in some versions you may have to go to the relevant icon in the Control Panel) to reconfigure the keys or reassign them to different programs, etc... PS2.exe Recommendation : Down to end-user preference. If you never use the multimedia function keys, then you can disable this task on the Startups tab. More information | |||
