The allSnap.exe process is an exeuctable file of the AllSnap application, which is used to make all top level windows automatically align like they do in programs such as Winamp or Photoshop.

The allSnap.exe process is not an essential file to the computer system. It is a user invoked program and a normal part of PC operations. You can disable it or even remove it from the system startup list in order to save more resources and speed up the system boot. If you need to use AllSnap application, you can launch it manually from the "Start" menu or other shortcuts.

Not required at startup (can be launched anytime) however useful in making windows snap to monitor edges or other windows. In my opinion, a great program with no humanly noticeable impact on performance.
