It`s not a virus, but it is dangerous for the performance of yor PC. Programs May Start, Quit, Lose, and Gain Focus Randomly. "Step 1: Uninstall Alternative User Input"- MS Office,was sufficient for me. Maybe you don't need to remove this file. Because it`s not recommended if you want language options like me. i dont know what it is its a ctf loader but, what does that mean quick startup describes it as dangerous but does not explain why its a nuisance because it is constantly trying to startup so you need to be looking at your startup prog all the time and your taskmanager processes so you can disable it . I would like more detailed info regarding ctfmon.

Ctfmon.exe is a vital part of Microsoft Windows XP. It should not be disabled as it is part of the setup needed by Microsoft for various programs.

not sure!! since finding this on my system, i have had problems with my dvd-rom, and scanner, driver path i.e registry have been corupted, not sure if this is the problem however. If anyone knows please let me know thanx.
