installed without permission, another annoying Adobe thingy: this is the unnecessary update manager. Everybody else manages to check when the program is run... but adobe needs to run a background process all the time (and their code is rarely clean or safe). Disable/Remove it, and do updates when YOU see fit.

I don't understand the comments. I would think that it is easier to have Adobe tell you when an update is needed, then having to check yourself.

This program can hog resources and can be removed without any negative effects. It is nothing to do with ARM processors and is a little bit of program that Adobe use to speed up their reader software lanch times.
